Choose the right route
A road safari gives you control over the pace of the journey. It can start at a city hotel, airport or beach resort, link several parks in sequence and stop when the landscape or wildlife calls for more time.
FAD operates road itineraries in safari-equipped vehicles with experienced driver-guides. Compare the published routes below, then ask us to balance driving time, game drives and accommodation around your priorities.

The vehicle depends on the route and party size. FAD uses safari-prepared vehicles chosen for visibility, comfort and the road conditions on the itinerary.
FAD road itineraries can be arranged privately for your travelling party, with your own vehicle and driver-guide.
Driving time changes by route. Each itinerary shows the travel order, and our team can add nights or change the park combination when a slower pace would suit you better.
Often, yes. Many routes can use a different final drop-off or connect with a beach stay or onward flight, subject to the practical route and timing.

The Great Migration is a living, rain-led cycle across the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem—not a single event on a fixed date. Choose the experience first, then match it to the right area and travel window.

East Africa’s strongest safari routes combine destinations for contrast: open plains and forests, famous wildlife areas and quieter landscapes, game drives and primate trekking.
