SAFARI ITINERARY IN DETAILS:
Day 01: Nairobi - Mount Kenya – Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive north towards Ol Pejeta Game Sanctuary with a brief stop at Karatina, home to the largest open-air market in East Africa. Arrive in time for lunch at the serene Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Enjoy afternoon game drives in Ol Pejeta/Sweetwaters Conservancy.
Day 02: Sweetwaters/Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, depart Sweetwaters and proceed to Lake Naivasha with a stop at Thomson's Falls to view the spectacular waterfalls. Enjoy lunch at your safari camp or lodge in Naivasha. Spend the afternoon at leisure with optional activities such as a boat ride to view rich birdlife and small game. Dinner and overnight at pre-booked lodge or camp.
Day 03: Lake Naivasha - Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving in time for lunch and a short rest at your pre-booked camp or lodge. Embark on an afternoon game drive in search of the abundant wildlife that Masai Mara is famous for — lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and more. Dinner and overnight at your safari accommodation.
Day 04: Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day of unlimited game viewing throughout the Masai Mara Reserve. Encounter the Big Five and a variety of other wildlife. Picnic lunch by the Mara River, where you can watch hippos, crocodiles, or, if visiting between July and October, witness the Great Migration.
Day 05: Masai Mara National Reserve - Drive to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of your camp or lodge and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
