Visit Nairobi’s elephant orphan care programme during its public viewing period, then continue to the nearby Giraffe Centre. A private foster-parent visit may be possible only for eligible guests with advance confirmation.

Leave Nairobi after breakfast and drive to Amboseli, arriving for lunch. Take an afternoon game drive focused on the park’s elephant families and other wildlife beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.

Day 03 / 07
Spend the day observing Amboseli’s elephants on morning and afternoon game drives. Visit Observation Hill and the wetland areas where elephants and other animals gather.

Take an early game drive, then leave Amboseli with a picnic lunch and travel to the northern sector of Tsavo East. Check in for dinner and overnight near the conservation area.

Spend the day learning about the reintegration of orphaned elephants and observing wildlife in the remote northern Tsavo landscape. Access to specialist facilities is subject to current conservation rules, foster status and advance confirmation.

After breakfast, explore along the Galana River and continue through Tsavo East with a picnic lunch. Game drive towards the Satao area, known for its active waterholes, for dinner and overnight.

The safari year runs in three seasons. July to October is peak season, with the driest ground and the strongest game viewing. November to March is warm and clear. April to June brings the long rains, greener country, quieter parks and our lowest prices.
